Noticeboard

Our Reception team now triage every call by asking you a few questions regarding the nature of your appointment.  This is so they can navigate you to the best clinician in our team to treat you.  As our team is expanding this may not by a doctor. Please try to help them by giving us as much information as possible as to why you would like an appointment.

We would like to welcome Sam Barker  to our clinical team.  Sam joins us as a mental health nurse who will be able to see our patients with any mental health problems including depression, anxiety, stress etc.

We would like to welcome Dr Faatima Bala to our clinical team.  Dr Bala joins us as a permanent salaried GP working 6 sessions per week.

Following the new GDPR rules that came into force on 25th May we have updated our privacy notice.  This can be found on the link below or in the Privacy Notice section of the website.

We will be recalling all our patients for their annual chronic disease review starting 1st April.  You may receive a text appointment or letter inviting you to attend.  We have arranged our clinic reviews so that, where possible, one review appointment will cover all the chronic diseases you may have.  Please attend this review even if you are seen regularly by the doctor or attend the hospital for this condition.

Appointments with the Doctor/Nurse Practitioner

When you ring you will be offered a choice of appointment times. If you do need to be seen urgently or acutely (you may be asked for information to determine this), please ring at 08:00 so that we can ensure that, if there is a need, you will be seen within 48 hours.

When you ring the surgery please consider whether your appointment is urgent/acute or whether you could take a pre-bookable appointment at a later date. Patients can ring the surgery up to 12 noon and be given an appointment of their choice.

Please note: The telephone lines are busiest between the hours of 08:00 and 09:00. Please avoid these times unless you do need to be seen within 48 hours.

Appointments with the Nurse

Appointments with the Practice Nurses can be booked in advance.

Online Appointments

We now offer appointments that can be booked online via the link at the top of this page. To register for this a disclaimer form must be completed and returned to the surgery along with photographic I.D. You will then be given an access code and password to log into our website.
