Noticeboard

We would like to welcome Dr Faatima Bala to our clinical team.  Dr Bala joins us as a permanent salaried GP working 6 sessions per week.

Following the new GDPR rules that came into force on 25th May we have updated our privacy notice.  This can be found on the link below or in the Privacy Notice section of the website.

We will be recalling all our patients for their annual chronic disease review starting 1st April.  You may receive a text appointment or letter inviting you to attend.  We have arranged our clinic reviews so that, where possible, one review appointment will cover all the chronic diseases you may have.  Please attend this review even if you are seen regularly by the doctor or attend the hospital for this condition.

Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by ticking the items required on your computerised repeat slip and handing it in or posting it to the surgery. If you enclose a stamped addressed envelope we will post the prescription back to you.

Alternatively you may order online via the link at the top of this page. You will need to be registered for the SystmOnline service. Please click here to download an application/disclaimer form. Alternatively you can collect a form from reception.

Please bring the completed application form along to the surgery, in person, together with some form of photo ID. You will then be issued with a new user name and a temporary password by the receptionist.

We prefer you not to order your prescriptions by telephone as this can lead to mistakes.

There are certain medications that will not be prescribed without seeing a doctor.

Repeat items will be issued for up to two months, no longer unless discussed with the doctor first.  Some items maybe restricted to other time frames depending on the drug.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, Pharmacist or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
