We would like to welcome Darren our MSK Specialist to the team

Darren is our Musculoskeletal Practitioner and is a Chartered Physiotherapist. He is able to assess musculoskeletal problems (joints, bones and muscles) and provide you with a diagnosis and treatment plan.  You can now book an appointment directly with him either via the online booking service or reception without needing to see the GP first.

Some of the conditions he can see are:

-          Joint pain

-          Back and neck pain

-          Sciatica

-          Osteoarthritis

-          Muscle, ligament, tendon injuries

-          Sports injuries

-          Work related injuries

If you require a period of treatment or rehabilitation from a physiotherapist then Darren can refer you into the local services directly. If necessary, he can also refer you on for further investigations (blood tests/x-rays etc.) or for specialist consultations such as with Orthopaedic or Rheumatology consultants

These fact sheets have been written to explain the role of UK health services, the National Health Service (NHS), to newly-arrived individuals seeking asylum.
